Did you know we now have TWO Bible Study groups?
Our Wednesday morning Bible study group continues to meet at 9:00 am each week. Lead by Marty Cummings and John Lansinger, the theme follows the lectionary each week.
On Friday nights from 5:30-6:30 Sophine Williams will lead the Victorious Women Community Bible Study. The theme for this is "Sitting at the Feet of Jesus."
Everyone is welcome to join either or both groups.
Help Parker Elementary School!
First Presbyterian Church is partnering with New Castle schools to assist in supplying pantry items for families in need. We have been assigned Parker Elementary. You can pick up a list of requested items from the table in the church entrance and bring those items to church. Here are just some of the items requested:
Pop tarts/ Cereal bars, Granola bars
Oatmeal cups/Cereal cups
Ramen packs/cups
Canned soup (preferably pop top)
Mac & cheese cups
Peanut butter or cheese crackers
Pudding or jello cups
Personal care items are being collected for Hagar's Hope (women's shelter) and the Guest House (men's shelter)
Items needed this month:
toilet paper
paper plates
paper bowls
paper towels
dish soap
bottled water
Containers for donations are in the narthex and in fellowship hall.
Christian Love Help Center
is in need of the following for their food pantry:
peanut butter
cereal
oatmeal
macaroni & cheese
breakfast bars
Ramen noodles
crackers
flavored rice
Donations may be brought to church and placed in the containers listed above. Items will be sorted and taken to the proper place.
